Risk factor (computing)

A risk factor (in computing) is something that could cause harm to your computer or data. It could be a virus, malware, or a hacker who is trying to steal information. When dealing with technology, it is important to be aware of the risks that are out there, and take measures to protect yourself from them. For example, make sure to have anti-virus software installed on your computer and use strong passwords for all of your accounts.
