Roadway noise

Roadway noise is the sound created by vehicles. It happens when cars, trucks, and buses move down the street and their tires, engines, and exhaust systems make noise. This noise can be very annoying, but it can also be dangerous when it is too loud. To help reduce the noise, cities often build walls, fences, and barriers along busy roads. This helps block and reduce some of the noise so it doesn't bother people living and working nearby.
