Rococo

Rococo is like a fancy kind of decoration that people used to put on things a long time ago. Imagine you have a plain cake that your mom made for your birthday. If you wanted to make it rococo, you would add a lot of little details and decorations like swirls, flowers, and curvy lines made out of frosting or candies.

In general, rococo is all about making things look very pretty and fancy with lots of details, especially in furniture and architecture. Think of it like a dress-up party for your house or your things! It was especially popular in France and other parts of Europe from the early 1700s to the late 1700s.

The word "rococo" comes from a French word that means "pebble" or "shell", because the ornate decorations often had shapes like those. So if you see something with lots of little fancy details and curvy lines, you can say "that's rococo!"
