ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Rolling highway

Imagine you have a big truck that carries things from one place to another. Now, imagine that instead of driving that truck all the way from one place to another, you could put it on a big train and have the train do most of the traveling. This is kind of like what a rolling highway is!

A rolling highway is a special kind of train that can carry big trucks with things in them. The trucks are loaded onto the train, kind of like how you put your toy cars on a toy train. The train then drives along a special track, like a big road just for trains. Because the train is doing most of the traveling, the trucks don't have to drive as far and they save a lot of fuel.

This special train is called a rolling highway because it's like a big road that's rolling along. And when the train gets to where it's going, the trucks are unloaded and can continue on their way delivering things to people who need them.

So, think of a rolling highway like a really big toy train that helps big trucks carry things a long way without having to drive as much. It's good for the environment and can help save time and money too!
