Roman military engineering

Okay kiddo, did you know that the Roman Empire was around a really long time ago? And they were really good at building things, like roads and buildings. But they were also really good at building things that helped them fight in wars. That's called military engineering!

They also built big walls around their cities and forts to keep the bad guys out. And they even built huge war machines called siege engines, which could knock down walls and break through doors.

So you see, Roman military engineers were very clever and very good at building things that helped their army win wars. They built things like walls, towers, roads, aqueducts, catapults, and siege engines. They were important because they made the Roman army stronger and safer, and helped them win battles and conquer new lands.
