Rome

Rome is a very old city located in Italy. It's so old that it was around before your grandparents were even born! Long ago, there were many powerful people who lived in Rome, like Julius Caesar and Cleopatra. They were really important because they ruled over a lot of people and helped make Rome a big and strong city.

In Rome, there are lots of ancient buildings that are still standing today. They were built by the Romans a very long time ago and they are really cool to see. One of them is called the Colosseum, where people used to go to watch gladiator fights and other big events. Another famous building is the Pantheon, which is a temple that was built to worship the ancient Roman gods.

People from all over the world go to Rome to see these old buildings and learn about the history of the city. People also go to Rome to eat delicious Italian food like pizza and spaghetti, and to see beautiful art and sculptures made by famous artists like Michelangelo.

Today, Rome is still an important city in Italy and in the world. It's the capital city of Italy, which means that important people work there to make important decisions for the country. Overall, Rome is a really cool city with a long and interesting history!
