ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Rotational angiography

Okay, kiddo! Have you ever watched a movie where the camera moves around the actors in a big circle? That's sort of what happens with rotational angiography!

Rotational angiography is a special kind of X-ray picture that helps doctors see what's going on inside your body. First, you lie on a table and a machine spins around you while taking lots of X-ray pictures from different angles.

Then, a computer puts all the pictures together like a puzzle to make a 3D image of what's inside your body. This image helps doctors see things that they couldn't see with just a regular X-ray.

It's like taking a bunch of pictures of your toy car from all different sides, and then putting them together to make a picture of the whole car! Only instead of a toy car, doctors can look at your heart or other important body parts to help figure out how to make you feel better.
