Rotorcraft

A rotorcraft is a flying machine that works using giant blades called rotors. These rotors spin around very quickly, creating a lift force that helps the rotorcraft fly. People usually ride in an enclosed compartment with windows, and can control the rotorcraft so they can go up, down, and sideways. As the rotorcraft flies, the rotors go up and down in unison, so even though the rotorcraft is going up and down, it always remains level.
