Rotunda (architecture)

A rotunda is a big, round room or building that looks like a big, fancy circle. It's often used in really special buildings or landmarks, like museums or government buildings. Inside the rotunda, you might see really tall, fancy columns that hold up the ceiling, and sometimes there's a special design or painting on the ceiling that looks really cool. It's kind of like standing inside a giant cake, but instead of icing and sprinkles, it's filled with beautiful architecture and design!
