Row (database)

Imagine you have a bunch of different toys that you want to organize. You decide to put all of the information about each toy on a piece of paper with different categories like toy name, color, and size. A row in a database is like one of those pieces of paper for one toy. It has all of the important information about that toy in different categories all lined up in a row. Just like how you can put all of those pieces of paper in a folder to keep them organized, you can put all of the rows in a database to keep everything in one place and make it easy to find what you're looking for.
