ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Rutherford Institute

The Rutherford Institute is like a big club that helps people who are having legal problems because of their beliefs or because they think their rights are being taken away.

You know how Mom and Dad always tell you that you have rights and that nobody can take them away from you? Well, sometimes grown-ups forget about that and don't always play fair. When that happens, the Rutherford Institute steps in to help people fight for their rights.

Remember when you were playing at the park and some older kids wouldn't let you play on the swings? That's kind of what the Rutherford Institute does when somebody is trying to keep you from doing something you have a right to do. They come in and speak up for you to help make sure you can keep doing what you love!

The Rutherford Institute also teaches people about their rights and helps them understand the laws that protect us. They even help schools and teachers understand how to teach kids about their rights and freedoms.

So, basically, the Rutherford Institute is like a superhero club that fights for people's rights and helps everyone understand how to protect themselves and play fair.
