SCALE-UP

Okay kiddo, so you know how sometimes we make something small like a cupcake or a drawing, but then we want to make a lot more of them? That's sort of like what companies do when they want to make more of their product.

When a company wants to make a lot more of something, they need to scale-up. This means they have to make everything bigger and better so they can produce more efficiently. Think of it like making a bigger cupcake but using a bigger oven and more ingredients.

The company might need to build bigger factories, hire more workers, and get more supplies to make everything. They also have to make sure their new and bigger product works just as well as the old one.

Sometimes when companies scale-up too quickly, they make mistakes and things don't work out. But if they do it right, they can make a lot more of their product and sell it to more people. And that's how they can grow their business and make more money.
