ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

SQALE

SQALE stands for Software Quality Assessment through Lifecycle Experiences. In essence, it is a way of measuring how well a piece of software is built and maintained over its lifetime. It looks at different aspects such as the cost of developing and maintaining the software, how easily it can be tested, how well it performs, and how secure it is. All this information is then used to give an overall score to the software, so that companies can see how well their software is doing.
