Salome (Gospel of James)
Okay kiddo, so the Gospel of James is a story that some people wrote a long long time ago about Jesus' mom, Mary. It tells us about how Mary grew up and how she became pregnant with Jesus even though she was a virgin. The story also talks about how Mary and Joseph had to travel to Bethlehem for a special census and how Jesus was born in a manger.
The Gospel of James also tells us some things about Jesus that we don't hear in the other stories about him. For example, it tells us that Jesus could talk and walk when he was just a little baby and that he performed some miracles even when he was really young.
But we have to remember that this story is not part of the Bible that most people read today. Some people think that it might have been written by someone who knew Mary or someone who just wanted to tell a different kind of story about Jesus and his family.
