Samaritans

Samaritans are a group of people who live in a place called Samaria. They believe in God and follow a religion that is similar to Judaism but a bit different.

Long long ago, there were two groups of people in Israel: the Jews and the Samaritans. They didn't like each other very much and had a lot of arguments.

But nowadays, Samaritans are known for being really kind and caring people. They have a special organization called "The Samaritans" where they help people who are feeling sad or lonely. They listen to them and try to help them feel better.

If you ever feel sad or lonely, you can call the Samaritans and they will talk to you and try to help you feel better. They are really good at listening and will not judge you in any way.
