San Francisco Digital Inclusion Strategy

The San Francisco Digital Inclusion Strategy is a plan to help close the gap between people who have access to the internet and those who don't. This gap is known as a 'digital divide'. It's important because having access to the internet can help you find jobs, learn new things, start businesses, and keep in touch with friends and family. The goal of the strategy is to make sure everyone in San Francisco has the same access to these opportunities. To do this, the city will build public spaces with free Wi-Fi, and provide devices, training, and services that are affordable. This way, people who may not have the money to buy their own internet access can still get connected.
