San Vitores
San Vitores is the name of a person who lived a long time ago and did some important things. He was a very good man who wanted to help people learn about a special person named Jesus.
San Vitores traveled to faraway places called islands where not many people knew about Jesus. He went to a place called Guam and helped build churches there so people could worship and learn about Jesus.
San Vitores also wanted to make friends with the people who lived on Guam. But some of these people were worried that San Vitores was trying to change their ways and beliefs, so they got really angry at him. They didn't want him to be there and they were mean to him.
Although San Vitores was a peaceful man, some of the people on Guam hurt him really badly. They didn't like what he was trying to teach them about Jesus. It's really sad that San Vitores was hurt so badly just because he wanted to share something so important to him.
Even though San Vitores was hurt, his teachings about Jesus continued on in Guam and other places. So now, even today, people all over the world know about San Vitores and the good things he did for Guam and for spreading the message of Jesus.
