Sandlot ball

Sandlot ball is a type of baseball game that kids play in an open field or a “sandlot” without any official rules or organized teams.

It’s a game where kids take turns playing different positions like pitcher, catcher, outfield, and infield. There are no umpires, coaches, or official uniforms.

Usually, the game starts with someone throwing the ball to the batter who tries to hit it with a bat. If the ball is hit, the other players try to catch it and get the batter out. If not, the batter keeps running around the bases, which are usually marked by rocks or sticks.

Sometimes the rules change depending on the group of kids playing, like how many strikes or outs are allowed or how far you can hit the ball.

The best thing about sandlot ball is that it’s all about having fun and playing with friends, while also learning important skills like teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship.
