Scarcella (architecture)

Okay kiddo, you know how when you build something like a sandcastle, you need to have different kinds of materials such as sand and water, right? In architecture, a scarcella is a special kind of building made from stones and other materials that are found around where the building is being made.

Scarcellas are usually small little buildings that were used in the past to store things like tools or crops. They are important because they represent the history and culture of the people who built them. Imagine your grandpa making a little fort out of rocks he found in his backyard. Scarcellas are kind of like that, but much more special because they were built a long time ago and have been part of history.
