Scientific Wild-Ass Guess

Okay kiddo, a "scientific wild-ass guess" is when a scientist makes a guess about something, but they don't know for sure if it's true or not. They use their knowledge and experience to make an educated guess, but they're not sure if it's right or wrong. It's like when you guess how many candies are in a jar - you use what you know about the size of the jar and how many candies can fit inside to make a guess, but you're not 100% sure if you're right. Scientists use scientific wild-ass guesses to make predictions or to help guide their research, but they always try to test their guesses to see if they're accurate.
