ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Sculpted prim

Okay kiddo, have you ever played with play dough and made little shapes with it? Well, sculpted prims are a lot like that! In a virtual world like Second Life, people can create things called prims, which are basically just basic shapes like cubes, spheres, and cylinders. But sculpted prims are different - they're like special prims that are made to look like more complex shapes, like animals or people or trees.

Here's how it works: someone who knows how to make sculpted prims (like an artist or a builder) will make a 3D model of the thing they want to create using a special software. Then, they use that model to make a special kind of prim that looks just like the 3D model! So instead of using a bunch of regular prims to make something, they can use just one sculpted prim and it will look much more detailed and realistic.

So think of it like playing with play dough, but instead of just making basic shapes you can use a special tool to make more complex shapes that look like real things! Cool, huh?
