Seabed

The seabed is the bottom part of the ocean floor where sea creatures live and underwater plants grow. It's like the earth's ground but it's underwater. Just like how you have a bed where you sleep, the sea also has a "bed" where all the sea creatures sleep and rest. The seabed is full of sand, rocks, and mud just like a beach, and it's also home to mountains and valleys just like on land. Some parts of the seabed are shallow and some are very deep, just like how your swimming pool has a shallow end and a deep end. The deeper parts of the seabed can be very cold and dark, almost like being in a closet with no light. But don't worry, sea creatures like sharks, dolphins, and whales are all able to live and swim in the ocean, even in the deepest parts of the seabed.
