Seanachie

Okay kiddo, a seanachie is someone who tells stories from history or legends. They were very important in Ireland and Scotland a long time ago. They would travel around and tell stories at feasts, weddings and other special occasions. The stories were usually about heroes, fairies and other mythical creatures. The seanachie would use their voice and body language to make the story interesting and easy to understand. They were like the movie directors of old times!
