Seasat

Seasat was a big boat made by people who wanted to learn more about the Earth's oceans from space. The boat went around the Earth and took pictures of the ocean and the ice floating in it. It also used special machines to measure the temperature of the water and how high the waves were. All of this information helped scientists understand more about how the oceans work and how they can affect the weather. It was like taking a really big picture of the ocean from space, but instead of just seeing what it looked like, we could learn more about it too!
