Seating assignment

Okay kiddo, let's say you and your friends are going on a field trip to the zoo. When you arrive at the bus, the teacher might tell you where to sit. This is called a seating assignment. The teacher might have reasons for where she wants you to sit, like making sure you're safe, or making sure you're able to see out the window. You might not always like where you're sitting, but it's important to follow the rules and listen to your teacher. Plus, you never know, you might end up sitting next to someone new and make a new friend!
