Security bug

A security bug is a kind of mistake in a computer program or system that can make information stored in the computer vulnerable to being seen or changed by someone who shouldn't have access to it. For example, if a programmer writes a program that has a security bug, it might allow someone to bypass a login page and get into a system where they can see or change information they aren't supposed to.
