Security issues in Colombia are a big problem. In Colombia, people do not always feel safe, because bad guys, called criminals, do bad things like stealing, robbing, and even hurting people. The police in Colombia do their best to stop the criminals, but sometimes the criminals are too strong for the police and can get away. This means that people in Colombia have to be very careful when they are out and about, and keep an eye on their things. To make things even more complicated, some criminals are involved in bigger and more dangerous illegal activities, like drug and human trafficking. This means that even if you do everything correctly, the chances of getting into danger in Colombia can be quite high.
