ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Sed

Sed (which stands for "Stream EDitor") is a utility that allows you to edit text in a file or stream without actually opening the file itself. It allows you to apply certain changes or commands to a file, such as replacing a certain phrase or deleting a certain line of text. You can also use sed to filter certain lines from text or combine multiple files into one.
