ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Self-sovereign identity

Self-sovereign identity means that you are in control of your own digital identity. Think of it like an ID card that you can use to verify who you are online. Instead of other people or companies controlling your identity, you can control your own information yourself. With this, you can choose which parts of your identity you want to keep private and which you want to share with other people and organizations.
