Semantic reasoner

A semantic reasoner is a computer program that can answer questions about the relationships between things. It looks at the meaning of words and can understand how things are connected, rather than just trying to match individual words. For example, if you asked it "what do cats like to eat?", the semantic reasoner would be able to look at the word "cat" and understand that it is an animal, and then look up information about things that animals like to eat, and then give you the answer.
