ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Semi-speaker

A semi-speaker is like a half-human, half-robot. It's a type of speaker that combines both a traditional speaker and a motorized diaphragm. The diaphragm is like a super thin piece of material that's made to vibrate when it's exposed to sound waves. These vibrations create sound.

So, when you use a semi-speaker, you get a more advanced sound experience. How does it work? Well, the regular speaker part produces sound like a normal speaker. But, the motorized diaphragm is used to vibrate and enhance certain parts of the sound. This can make the sound clearer, fuller, and more balanced.

Think of it like a chef making a cake. The cake on its own is great, but when the chef adds frosting and decorations, it becomes even better. The semi-speaker works a similar way- it takes the sound and adds some extra "frosting" to enhance it even more.
