Sensualism

Sensualism is a way of thinking that believes that the only way to know something is to experience it directly with the senses. For example, to know whether something tastes sweet you need to actually stick it in your mouth and taste it. You can't just imagine what it tastes like or talk to someone else who has tried it. That's the idea behind sensualism—the only way to really know something is by experiencing it for yourself.
