Sequence mining

Sequence Mining is like detective work. It helps us figure out patterns of events based on things that happen in a specific order. For example, when you go to the store, you usually follow the same pattern of events. First, you might put stuff in the cart, then you might pay the cashier, and then you might leave the store. In Sequence Mining, a computer would look at lots of different trips to the store and try to figure out what the pattern of events usually is. It would then use this pattern to make predictions about how people will behave in the future.
