Sequoia National Park is a big place with lots of trees. These trees are called sequoias and they are very, very tall. They are even bigger than your house! Sequoias are special because they can live for a very, very long time – sometimes almost 3,000 years.
People visit Sequoia National Park to see these amazing trees, hike on trails through the forest, and take pictures of the beautiful scenery. But it's not just trees in the park! There are also lots of animals, like bears, deer, and squirrels.
When you go to the park, you might see a big mountain called Mount Whitney. It's the highest mountain in all of North America! It's so tall that there's snow on the top all year round.
