Serbo-Croatian language

Serbo-Croatian is a language that people in a few countries in Europe speak. It is made up of many different words and grammar rules that people use to talk to each other. Some people call it Serbo-Croatian because it is made up of two languages that are very similar: Serbian and Croatian. Serbo-Croatian is the language that people use in countries like Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Kosovo. Even though it has different names in different countries, people can understand each other when they talk because it is all Serbo-Croatian. It is like if you have two toys that are a little bit different, but you can still play with them in the same way. Serbo-Croatian is a really important language for people who live in these countries because they use it to communicate with each other, tell stories, and pass on traditions from generation to generation.
