Serial concatenated convolutional codes

Serial concatenated convolutional codes are special codes that are used to help send information accurately over long distances. They are like a box with a bunch of secret codes inside, and inside each code there are lots of "chunks" of information. The information travels a long way like a train, and each time it stops, the box checks which code chunk it is at and then changes the information from one code to the next code. This way, even if the information gets a bit scrambled or changed along the way, when it reaches its destination, it will still be the same as when it started.
