Settling time

Settling time is how long it takes for something to stop changing and settle into a certain state. For example, when you pour a cup of hot tea, you wait for the hot tea to cool down and settle before you can drink it. Settling time is how long it takes for the hot tea to cool down and be ready for you to drink.
