Seven holy virtues

Okay kiddo, so you know how we have things we want to be really good at, kind of like being awesome at playing soccer or sharing our toys with friends? Well, adults also have things they want to be really good at, but they call them "virtues" instead.

The "seven holy virtues" are seven really important traits that people should try to have to be good and moral. They are called "holy" because they are considered to be blessed by God and can help us become even better people.

So let's talk about each of these virtues and what they mean:

1. Chastity - This means being pure and not doing things that might harm a person's body or emotions, especially in a physical way.

2. Temperance - This is about having self-control and not doing things that are harmful, which can lead to more positive outcomes like good health, and wisdom.

3. Charity - This means being kind to other people, especially if they need help or are struggling.

4. Diligence - This is about working hard and not giving up easily to achieve success.

5. Patience - This means being able to wait for things and not getting frustrated or upset when things don't happen right away.

6. Kindness - This is about being nice and friendly to others, even when they might not deserve it.

7. Humility - This means being modest and not bragging about yourself or thinking that you're better than others.

So, these seven holy virtues are really just a way of saying that it's important to be a good person and care about others, while working on yourself at the same time. It's kind of like a moral roadmap to becoming a better human being.
