Sexual minorities in Sri Lanka

So, you know how boys usually like girls and girls usually like boys? Well, some boys may like other boys and some girls may like other girls. That's called being a sexual minority.

In Sri Lanka, some people identify as sexual minorities, like gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. However, some people in Sri Lanka might not understand or accept these people in the same way they do for boys liking girls or girls liking boys.

This can make it difficult for people identifying as sexual minorities to share their feelings or be open about their identity. They might fear rejection or violence because of their identity, which means they have to keep it a secret.

Some people in Sri Lanka are working hard to help the community understand and accept sexual minorities, so that they can live their life and love who they want, without fear of discrimination. It's important for everyone to be respected and treated fairly, no matter who they love.
