Shaiva Siddhanta is a Hindu religious philosophy that focuses on the worship of Shiva, the God of all Creation. It is based on the Agamas, which are ancient scriptures that explain the teachings of Shiva. This philosophy teaches that the universe is made up of three components: souls (jivas), material (maya), and God (Mahadeva). Souls are eternal, infinite, and constantly evolving, while material is finite and temporary. According to Shaiva Siddhanta, all souls have the potential to realize their true nature as the Universal Consciousness (Shiva) through spiritual practices and devotion. The goal of this philosophy is to achieve spiritual liberation (moksha). This occurs when a soul is able to break free from the cycle of death and rebirth, and unite with the Divine.
