Shareware is a type of software that people can try out for free before deciding whether or not they want to pay money to keep using it. It usually works like this: When you download the shareware onto your computer, you can use it for a certain amount of time, like 30 days. During that time, you can use all the features of the software to see if you like it. After the time is up, you have to decide if you want to keep using it. If you do, then you have to pay a certain amount of money to purchase the program.
