Shastriji Maharaj

Shastriji Maharaj was a very special person who lived a long time ago. He was a spiritual leader and a really nice person who helped a lot of people.

Shastriji Maharaj was born in a small village in India in 1865. His real name was Yagnapurushdas, but people called him Shastriji Maharaj because he was really good at studying and teaching.

When he was just a little boy, Shastriji Maharaj loved to talk about God and tell stories that made people happy. He was also really kind and always tried to help others. When he grew up, he became a sadhu, which is a holy person who devotes their life to serving God and helping others.

Shastriji Maharaj started a special group called the Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS for short). This group was all about following God and being a good person. Shastriji Maharaj taught people how to be kind, loving, and respect each other.

He traveled to many different places and met lots of people. Everywhere he went, he built beautiful temples where people could come and pray. He also taught people about good values and encouraged them to be helpful to others.
