Shenyi

Shenyi is a traditional Chinese garment worn by both men and women. It is made up of two parts: an upper garment called the "jian" and a lower garment called the "ku".

The jian is a kind of jacket or robe that covers the upper body and arms. It has long sleeves and is usually made of silk or cotton. The ku is a kind of pants or skirt that covers the lower body. It has wide legs and is also made of silk or cotton.

Shenyi is usually worn for important ceremonies or events, such as weddings, funerals, or special performances. It is also worn by actors in traditional Chinese opera.

The shenyi has a long history and has evolved over time. Different dynasties in Chinese history had their own versions of the shenyi, with different styles and colors. Today, people still wear shenyi for traditional events or as a cultural symbol.
