Shipping (fandom)

Shipping, in fandom terms, is the term used to describe the act of wanting two fictional characters from movies, TV shows, books, or other media to have a romantic relationship. For example, if you like Harry Potter, you might think it would be cool to "ship" Harry and Hermione, which means you think they should be together romantically. Shipping can also extend to non-romantic relationships, like two characters being friends or partners. People who are part of a fandom community will often talk about which characters they ship, share artwork or stories they create, and debate which couple would be the best. Shipping is all about expressing your opinion and having fun with people in the same fandom!
