Shoeing

Shoeing is a job done by a special kind of person called a Farrier. A Farrier is someone who has special training in how to put new shoes on horses. They use hot iron to shape and size the shoes, and then they attach the shoes to the horse's feet with nails. This helps the horse to walk and run better and is kind of like putting shoes on our own feet!
