ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Showrooming

Showrooming is when you go to a store and look at things you want to buy, like toys or clothes, but then you don't buy them there. Instead, you use your phone to look up the same things online to see if you can find them for a cheaper price. It's like looking at a toy in a toy store, but then going home to order it from a website that sells it for less money. Showrooming can be good for your wallet because you can find good deals, but it can be bad for the store where you saw the thing you wanted because they don't make any money if you don't buy it there.
