Shrine Shinto

Okay kiddo, let me tell you about Shrine Shinto.

Shrine Shinto is a special kind of religion in Japan that worships different gods and goddesses, known as kami. These kami are thought to have special powers and protect certain places, things, and people. So people go to shrines to pray to these kami and get their blessings.

Shinto shrines are special buildings that are very important to the people who follow this religion. They are often very pretty and have many decorations. When you go to a shrine, you are supposed to bow and clap your hands to get the kami's attention. You can also buy special charms or amulets to bring good luck or help you with different things in your life.

People in Japan have been following this religion for a very, very long time - thousands of years! It's a big part of their history and culture. Even today, many people in Japan still practice Shrine Shinto and go to shrines to pray and ask for blessings.
