Shrine of Remembrance

The Shrine of Remembrance is a special place that people go to remember the brave soldiers who fought in wars to protect their country. It is like a big building with a really tall tower in the middle. The tower is called the "dome" and it has a big light on the top that shines bright at night time.

When people go to the Shrine of Remembrance, they can see lots of statues and pictures that show what the soldiers looked like and what they did to help their country. There are also special rooms where people can go to pray and think about the soldiers who passed away.

Every year on a special day called "Remembrance Day," people come to the Shrine of Remembrance to show respect and remember the soldiers who fought and died for their country. They might lay a wreath of flowers or plant a poppy to show that they are grateful for the soldiers' bravery.

The Shrine of Remembrance is a really important place because it helps us to remember the brave soldiers who gave their lives so that we can live in a safe and happy country.
