ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Shrink ray

Okay kiddo, have you ever played with a toy car or doll that was bigger than your hands? Imagine if you had a special device, called a shrink ray, that could make that toy car or doll very, very small.

The shrink ray works by shooting out a special type of energy that can make objects smaller. Think of it like a magical space laser that can make things shrink! When you point the shrink ray at an object and press a button, the rays will zap the object and make it smaller.

Now, you might be wondering how the shrink ray knows when to stop shrinking things and if it can be dangerous. Well, the shrink ray has a special setting that lets you choose how small you want the object to become, and it's also designed to only work on non-living things like toys or plants.

So, with a shrink ray, you can make all sorts of things smaller like a toy car, a pencil, or even a backpack, and then you can keep them with you or put them in your pocket. But, remember, it's just make-believe and there's no such thing as a real shrink ray - it's just something we see in movies and shows.

Hope that explains it kiddo!
