Sicanian language

The Sicanian language is a really old language that people used to speak a long, long time ago in a place called Sicily. It's actually a bit like a secret code that only some people could understand and use to talk to each other.

Some archaeologists found little pieces of writing in this language and by studying them, they learned a bit about what the language was like. They think that this language was used by a group of people who lived in Sicily a very long time ago, before the Romans came to this area.

It's a bit like when you make up your own secret language with your friends so nobody else can understand what you're saying. But even though this language is really cool, not many people know how to speak it anymore because it's been gone for a really, really long time.
